The other side of Mile2

I went to Amuwo Odofin Area today. It was my second time in that area. First time was when I was at Golden Tulip in 2015.

Each time I go to a different part of Lagos, it usually feels like I am in a new town. I didn’t even know that is where Ago Palace is located. I wanted to go all the way to Alaba International Market Area to see how much has changed but I had limited time. The railways tracks and train stations in the center of that Badagry Express Way were just fascinating even though they are non functional. I remember when the roads there use to be horrible in the late 2000s. Then I use to live after Ajanbadi and I had a job at Alaba. Lol. (Story for anothe day) It’s amazing seeing how much have changed in 7 years.
One other different thing I did today is visit Mega Chicken Restaurant for the first time. My friend who I went to visit took me to their branch at Amuwo Odofin for dinner. I’m a routine person when it comes to eating at fast-foods and The Place Restaurant has become my goto fastfood. The fried rice at Mega Chicken was kinda disappointing so I won’t be returning there except I need to buy pastries.
To my friend who does not want to be named, thank you for hosting me. 😊

I’m so exhausted. I have to call it a night.
